Middleton Place CT Show a Success

A group of our young riders went to the CT Show at Middleton Place May 26th.  For many of the riders, this was their first time riding dressage.  However, all did well. A number of Rose Court Farm boarders came out to support our riders, too, and had a great time.

Madi Cutts rode Mac, who distinguished himself in dressage and then ran jumped beautifully (all except one, which he took down, standards and all).

Sarah Calcutt rode Cheyenne, and they did well in dressage, but had difficulty in jumping.  Cheyenne had some spectacular refusals, but Sarah did well despite it.  Later, they went back into the
ring and jumped for training purposes, and Cheyenne did just fine.  Silly horse.

Sarah Hudock rode Reba, and they did well in both dressage and jumping.  Anne Bond rode Apollo, and they did well in both dressage and jumping.  And Brianna Lane rode Whiskey, and they also did well in both arenas.  Reba, Apollo, and Whiskey all had clean jumping rounds.  All in all, it was a successful day.

The riders plan to do more CT and full events, and have planned a training day at the Gibbs.  Middle Place is planning another CT on July 13th.
